Why Now?

  • The Need is All Year Long But NOW More Than Ever and Growing
  • Established in 1991 as an outreach ministry of the Bellevue United Methodist Church, the food bank serves local Bellevue area families weekly
  • Their numbers have doubled during the COVID-19 pandemic such that donation needs are at a critical level.
  • The Food Bank does not receive support from any agency outside Bellevue, solely relying on the gracious generosity of Bellevue area businesses and individuals.
  • Beneficiary families (many of whom are disabled, grandparents raising grandchildren, medically disabled, as well as a large percentage who have one working family member) are especially impacted right now and need our collective help.
